FAQs Active Dosimetry
→ → What should I do if an APD is showing up red with the comment "Fault" on the attribution station?
→ → What should I do if the attribution station is showing a red bar with the comment "DB fault" or "Server fault"?
→ → What should I do if the button on the APD is no longer working?
First of all, you should insert the APD into one or two other slots on the station, and the dosimeter will then reset itself.
If this does not work, the dosimeter can be reset as follows:
- Pierce the black dot on the "Reset" label on the back of the APD with a paper clip
- Push the paper clip in until you feel some resistance (Reset button)
- The APD will then reset itself automatically
The dosimeter can then be inserted into a slot on the station once more.
If the APD is still showing up red / "Fault" on the station or no green dot appears on the APD’s screen, please contact the customer service department at Dosilab.
